On Tuesday, June 26th from 10:00 AM to 11 AM (CST) Dave Ferguson, Eric Bramlett, and Jon Ferguson will conduct a webinar hosted by Greg Ligon and Leadership Network. A few days ago we did a test-run of the technology behind the webinar concept. It really is a great low-cost interactive way to provide access to content, people, and ideas without having to leave the comfort of your very own laptop. The topic for this webinar is based on our recently released book, The Big Idea. So open up your laptop, get a cup of coffee, and join us. Best of all, it's free!! Click here to register.
Thanks for the webinar yesterday. It was helpful. Two questions we were unable to ask during the time were:
1) How do you handle guest speakers? How do you prepare group leaders for their content and how closely are they asked to stick to a predetermined big idea? Any suggestions?
2) Some of our small groups like to take weeks off to do something fun, etc. So far they have simply skipped that week's big idea. Is that what you do? Any suggestions?

Brad:
We are a multi-site church with 8 locations and don't usually have guest speakers. If we do from time to time, we ask them to stick with The Big Idea message for that week.
Our small group does the same, if we miss a week we just skip that lesson unless someone in the group really wants to cover that discussion then we'll try to fit it in but we usually just stick with the small group discussion that matches up with the weekend message.
Thanks for logging into The Big Idea Webinar.
